About Me
A little about John:
When I was young, I would watch my father turn pieces of wood into extraordinary things. My earliest memory of “woodworking” is drilling some holes in a block of wood, then screwing it to the side of my dad’s portable workbench. I’m glad I survived! I made my first real woodworking project around 1996. It was very simple, but still in daily use. In 1998, I started WoodJAM Workshop, working in my garage, as a way to supplement our family income so my wife could fulfill her wish to stay home with our boys. Today, I have a dedicated shop where my passion has come alive, creating simple toys and puzzles, as well as award winning works of art.
